Fat Tuesday, Feb 5th at the Cottage all day and night... having fun, raising funds for one of our community's most beloved, Jessie Loudermilk. Habitat for Harmony (Mary Winner, Greg Watts and moi) will be on from 5:30 until about 6 PM. Please come join us or any of the gazillion other players who will make music day and night for Jessie's sake. And, it will be really good fun, too!

Dave Richardson, Bill Rountree and David Potter will be at the Lighthouse Tiki Bar with me on Saturday, Feb 9th, Feb 16 and Feb 23. These will probably be the last three gigs we do as a group, as Mr. Rountree heads up north or gets busy with Smokin' Bill.

Hey, Saturday November 17th is the Turkey Testicle Festival at the Surf Club. Mark and I will be there to watch the chicken poop contest and to enjoy the faces of those folks trying the little delectables for the first time. Don't miss it! It starts at 2 in the afternoon and goes on till about 8 o'clock. BUT, I'll be at the Cafe Sole down the road at about 6 PM with Mark, to play and sing at a Music Showcase there. Hope to see you all!

For those who have asked, the anticipated Zonkaraz reunion will happen in the Spring of 2008. We tried to organize it for sometime in the fall this year, but venue snafu's put the kibosh on that. If all the gods are willing... we'll see you when the crocuses bloom!

The Cafe Sole was a wash, literally. We live in paradise, and at this time of year, we are almost always guaranteed a rain event around the time of sunset or so. Saturday was no different, and so our little evening under the stars at the cafe turned into an evening of hiding under the eaves of the coffeehouse for an hour before calling it off altogether. Oh well... we'll try again soon.

Meanwhile, today is my birthday, and I plan to enjoy myself and bask in all the love.

I'll be at the Cafe Sole this Saturday, September 22nd, from 6 pm until 9 pm with Sundance Dave Richardson on guitar and vocals, Greg Watts on bass and vocals, and David Potter on mandolin and blues harp. This is a freebie, but your patronage at the cafe during the show would be greatly appreciated. Please come down for a delicious frozen or iced coffee, tea or fruity thingy and enjoy the music!

It's only been nine months since the Zonkaraz First Night concert in Worcester... there are lots of videos and mp3's floating around the 'net if you want to see what that's all about. No date set as yet, but I think we're going to do another one, only it won't be so "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" this time.

Got to sit in with David Johnson, Mike Baer and Trimble McCullough this weekend. That was a treat!

I've heard from a few old Rat afficionados lately. Listen, we all knew, everyone in and around the band, that we were all part of something very significant. It was what it was, but it was SOMETHING! I am so very happy to have heard from all of you. Thank you thank you thank you.
